Job Title: ADHD Teaching assistant - Full-time - Secondary
Axcis is working with a fantastic mainstream primary/secondary school in the Cheadle area to recruit a ADHD teaching assistant. This is a position supporting a small group of children with ADHD. Your role will be to provide high-quality support and mentoring for ADHD pupils to enhance their learning. The role will require working with teachers to provide additional support as required, enabling pupils to learn effectively in class. The role: • Small group setting. • Ages 4 – 16. • Working hours – Mon – Fri: 08:00am – 15:00pm. • Full time. • Pro-active and supportive environment. • Pay rate - £14.38ph/£93.48 per day. • The role is initially temporary to start with, with a view to go permanent for the right candidates. About the school: • Mainstream primary/secondary setting. • Supportive environment. • Public transport links. • Private Parking. The school are looking for candidates with SEND experience in a school setting or within a Nursery, College or youth club.
