Job Title: Learning Support Assistants
Learning Support Assistants based in Leeds! Education is actively recruiting dedicated Learning Support Assistants to assist vulnerable pupils across a range of SEND settings and schools in Leeds and surrounding areas. As specialists in special educational needs and disabilities, we operate within mainstream schools, SEND schools, alternative provisions, and PRU's, offering both short-term and long-term positions. We're particularly interested in candidates with proven experience supporting individuals with SEND, who can maintain composure in challenging situations. The ideal candidates will demonstrate patience, empathy, and resilience. Proficiency in Team Teach or MAPA is highly desirable, as the individuals we support may present with various conditions such as Autism, ADHD, Attachment Disorders, SEMH, Challenging Behaviour and other associated conditions For those contemplating a transition to a Learning Support role, we collaborate closely with schools seeking professionals adept at managing challenging behaviour and emotional disorders.
