Axcis Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join a Special Needs School in Oldham. This is a full-time role, and we're looking for someone with a background in psychology or mental health support, ideally having experience in similar roles. Position: Mental Health Support Worker Location: Oldham Role: Full-time Start Date: ASAP Requirements: Background in psychology or mental health support, DBS on the update service About the Role: As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will be working with students in a Special Needs School who may be dealing with anxiety, depression, various levels of abuse, ACS (Attachment and Trauma), and other SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs. Your role is vital in providing support, understanding, and fostering a safe environment for these students to thrive.
