I am currently working with a local secondary school that is in need of a Tutor for 12 hours per week (Ideally Monday-Wednesday) moving to 16 hours after 3 weeks if appropriate. The role will take place in the students home due to the student being unable to attend school as they have functional neurological disorder. The child is in year 9 and hasn’t been well enough to attend school in over 2 years. The role ideally will cover English, Science (with a biology focus), History, Art and Textiles. You would be tutoring on a 1:1 basis, ideally having Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or other qualification but this role is flexible to someone with sound subject knowledge.
