Job Title: SEND TA in Windsor
Are you interested in becoming a teaching assistant who supports young people with complex needs, communication difficulties and challenging behaviours? If so, this is just the role for you. You will be working in an independent specialist school in Windsor, helping to provide quality special education and contribute to the academic and social development of its pupils. The daily rate of pay starts at £93.48, increasing after 12 weeks, and the working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 to 4:00. The school is looking for teaching assistants with at least some prior experience assisting SEND children, though this could be personal instead of professional. The main characteristics being looked for are a proactive and energetic nature, adjustability and the ability to respond calmly in the face of challenging behaviour. Degree level qualifications are also highly valued but not essential. For those living in Slough and Windsor, the school is easily reached by either car or bus.
