SEND Teacher Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are currently seeking a SEND Teacher to join the team at a vibrant school in Harrow. • SEND Teacher, Harrow • Immediate Start • Flexible days • Pay to scale • Weekly pay As a SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students with a range of special educational needs. You will work closely with other staff members to plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and dyslexia. You should be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the challenges faced by SEND students and be committed to helping them achieve their full potential. As a SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for: - Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students - Assessing student progress and providing feedback to students and parents - Working closely with other staff members to ensure that all students receive the support they need - Developing and implementing individual education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs - Attending meetings with parents and other professionals to discuss student progress and plan interventions as required - Keeping up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in SEND education The ideal candidate will have: - A degree in education or a related field - A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, etc.) - Experience working with students with a range of special educational needs - A deep understanding of the challenges faced by SEND students - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - The ability to work independently and as part of a team - A commitment to ongoing professional development In return, we offer a supportive and collaborative working environment, excellent professional development opportunities, and a competitive salary package.
