Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant - Flixton

We're currently on a lookout for a SEND Teaching Assistant for a large secondary school in Trafford to start ASAP and continue until the end of the school year. This specific position is located in Urmston and involves supporting students with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties). The role includes working with students individually and in small groups to help them reach their expected levels of progress and succeed in the education system. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 3:30pm term time only. There is potential for a school-based contract after an initial period. To qualify for this role, candidates should have: - A fully enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one) - Prior experience working with children or young adults with SEN, ideally within an educational setting - A genuine enthusiasm for education and a dedication to working with young people.
