Job Title: Basic Skills Teacher Residential SEN
We are recruiting for a basic skills teacher for the next academic year (2021-2022) to work in a secondary residential SEND school. This is a long term role working within a top of the range school in Newton-le-Willows. Axcis are working with a well-known SEN school, helping them find a suitable basic skills teacher to join their current hardworking and passionate staff. Based within a 5 minute walk from Newton-le-Willows train station, this school boasts modern facilities to help the children progress in a classroom environment. You will cover all basic skills in literacy, numeracy and science and previous experience with SEN will be beneficial. Aged between 5 and 11, there are 30 children in the residential and kids have a range of SEND such as challenging behaviour and ADHD. The successful candidate will be resilient towards challenging behaviour and have a true desire to progress their career in teaching.
