An alternative provision based in Islington which caters for young people across Key Stages 2 -4 who have been permanently excluded or at the risk of exclusion require a Key Stage 3 Teacher to work with students with Social emotional mental health needs. The School are looking for a confident and experienced teacher to ASAP on a part time basis. The ideal teacher will be energetic and creative and be able to motivate and inspire pupils within their care. This role will involve teaching English and Maths to a small class (3 - 4 students), 2 to 3 days a week. Both Secondary and Primary trained Teachers are welcome to apply. You must be a qualified teacher and have previous experience dealing with SEMH and Challenging behaviour - ideally in a AP/PRU setting. Team Teach training is highly desirable but not essential. This is an amazing position for someone who is passionate about working with students with challenging behaviour and an opportunity to be a positive role model and make a real difference.
