Job Title: SEMH Outreach Assistant
Axcis are working with a centre for children aged 5-11 years who all have EHCP’s experiencing complex social and mental health difficulties. All of the children in this centre have been taken out of mainstream school and transferred either by the council or schools. We are seeking a SEMH Outreach assistant to help and support the young people’s social interactions and emotional needs so they can engage with people and become more independent within their everyday lives.
The centre is a primary focussed special school with lovely resources and a big campus to work in. This is an important ethos as everybody involved in an individual child’s life can create committed support in their ongoing educational and health care plan.

We pay £80 - £85 per day. The hours are 8:30 to 3:30 and we are looking for people that can commit to 3 to 5 days per week. We do not work on weekends.
