JOB LOCATION:
London - West
A SEND school based in Hillingdon that caters for pupils aged between 4 and 19 with ASD and SLD are looking for a number of experienced Special Needs teaching assistants to work on a full time basis within their well resourced Secondary department. The successful Special Needs teaching assistant will be required to provide general classroom support and may also be asked to work on a one to one basis or in small groups. Previous experience of working with ASD is a requirement, and as many of the children are non verbal the ability to use communication aids such as PECS and Makaton is also essential. If you are a caring, friendly and patient SEND specialist then this would be an ideal role for you. This is a full time, long term role with an immediate start.
