We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to join a supportive and friendly primary school in Wednesbury (WS10). The school is seeking an enthusiastic individual with experience in supporting students with severe Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your role will include: • Providing 1:1 or small group support for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) • Assisting the class teacher in modifying learning materials to cater to individual needs. • Offering emotional and behavioural support to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. • Encouraging social interactions and active participation in classroom activities. • Promoting positive behaviour and supporting pupil engagement during lessons. What We’re Looking For: • Experience working with pupil in a classroom setting with ASD is essential • A proactive approach with the ability to adapt to the individual needs of each pupil. • A genuine passion for working with children with additional needs • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a variety of school environments.
