Are you passionate about making a difference in a child’s educational journey? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at a school in Clapham Junction.
This is a temporary, full-time position during term time, where you’ll work closely with a primary student who requires personalised assistance.
The role involves:
• Supporting the student on a 1:1 basis to help them engage with learning.
• Assisting with personal care as part of the student’s daily routine.
• Creating a positive, inclusive environment to support the student’s development and wellbeing.
Requirements:
• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or special educational needs is preferred.
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive attitude towards helping students succeed.
• A valid child and adult DBS certificate registered on the update service is essential.
• Strong English communication skills
• This is a full-time role; only applicants seeking full-time work will be considered.
Details:
• Location: Clapham Junction
• Working Hours: 08:45 – 16:45 (Fridays until 16:00), term time only
• Pay Rates: £85 per day
