Job Title: Autism Experience Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant Roles – Full-Time Opportunities Across North London Specialising in Autism Support Are you passionate about supporting children with autism and helping them achieve their potential? Schools across North London are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to join their teams and make a difference in the lives of children with additional needs. Key Responsibilities • Providing 1:1 or small group support for children with autism. • Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and delivery. • Implementing autism-specific strategies, such as PECS or sensory integration. • Helping students develop communication, social, and academic skills. • Managing behaviours effectively and supporting emotional regulation. • Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all students. What You Need • Previous experience working with children with autism (essential). • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students with additional needs. • Strong communication and relationship-building skills. • Knowledge of autism-specific strategies is desirable but not essential. • A commitment to helping every child succeed.
