Job Title: Care Support Workers
Care Workers for homes in Trowbridge, Westbury, Radstock Axcis Education is seeking support workers for care roles in the Wiltshire and Bath areas. We are looking for individuals who have the enthusiasm and empathy to support young adults with learning disabilities, autism and Downs Syndrome in their homes in a supported living environment. The role of the support worker is a vital part of developing any service user to become independent within their own homes. A support worker is a key part in enriching the lives of young adults with additional needs and to allow them to flourish within themselves and the community. There are a variety of working hours that are available where by you could work during the day, evening or overnight and can include weekdays and weekends. Your role as a support worker will include: - To provide high quality, person-centred care involving a broad range of often complex social, emotional and recreational needs, recognising the potential of each Service User and to promote through actions and words the achievement of that potential including working as part of a team. - To meet the individual care and support needs of Service Users using the service in a way that promotes, dignity, privacy, safety and independence. - To ensure the effective use of resources in providing this care and support If you would like to know more please get in touch or send your CV to us.
