Location: Northolt, Ealing
Position: Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Commitment: Full Academic Year
Start Date: ASAP
Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN teaching assistant to support children across various age groups in a mainstream primary school located in Northolt. This full-time role involves 1:1 and group support to children with special educational needs, making a positive impact on their learning and development. The ideal candidate will be supporting children with various SEN, and being able to deal with challenging behaviour is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide 1:1 and group support to children with SEN, ensuring tailored assistance to meet their specific needs.
-Work with students who have Autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties, fostering engagement and participation in class.
-Assist in managing challenging behaviours and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
-Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson plans and activities according to individual education plans (EHCPs).
Requirements:
-Proven SEN experience working in a UK school is essential.
-Must have an Enhanced DBS registered on the update service.
-Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills.
-Commitment to working full-time throughout the school year.
-Enhanced DBS on the update service.
