Location: Mainstream Primary School, Haringey Position: Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant Hours: Monday to Friday Start Date: September Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant with a strong background in UK classrooms? Do you have a proven track record of supporting students with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our mainstream primary school in Haringey. About the Role: As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and staff to provide tailored support for students with special needs, ensuring they have access to a high-quality education. Your role will involve assisting in classroom activities, implementing individualized education plans, and fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: -Support students with special educational needs in the classroom -Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons -Implement and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) -Provide one-on-one or small group support as needed -Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment Requirements: Essential: Proven UK classroom experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant Essential: Demonstrated experience working with children with special needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude Commitment to supporting the educational and personal development of students Please apply ASAP if this sounds like the perfect role for you!
