Job Title: Further Education Learning Support Assistant
Axcis Education is excited to partner with a wonderful college in Bristol to recruit a Learning Support Worker. Role Overview: This position involves supporting students with various Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including complex needs and autism. The ideal candidate will have experience working with similar additional needs and a passion for positively impacting the academic and emotional progress of students in further education. This role is a great opportunity for someone interested in training as a teacher to gain vital experience. Working Hours and Pay: • 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday • Hourly rate starts at £14.66 Responsibilities: • Keeping students engaged with their schoolwork to maintain academic progress • Ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for students by understanding their individual needs • Collaborating with teachers and school staff on students' Educational Healthcare Plans (EHCPs) Candidate Requirements: • Passion for supporting students with SEND • Strong communication and written English skills • Right to Work in the UK • Enhanced DBS on the update service If you are caring, friendly, and patient, this role could be perfect for you.
