Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Mitcham
Start Date: Immediately after February half-term
Position Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
A secondary school in Mitcham seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join the team on a full-time basis for maternity cover. This role involves teaching Geography to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and effective lessons, and fostering a love of learning.
Essential Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service.
Strong knowledge of the secondary Geography curriculum.
Effective classroom management skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver dynamic lessons aligned with the curriculum.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Support the pastoral and academic development of students.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to a positive and supportive school environment.
