Job Title: Health Care Assistant - Mental Health - Residential Setting - Post 16
Axcis Education is proud to be working with a well known client in the Trafford area that is looking for flexible support workers with immediate effect. The setting specialises in the support of young adults with a range of needs surrounding mental health and well being. The ideal health care assistant or support worker will have experience in similar residential settings. Assisting with the day to day running of the provision, meal times and de-escalating behaviour. Experience within mental health is also advantageous. All candidates must hold health care certification for this role. Experience in MAPA or Team Teach is also favoured. Axcis Education is also able to offer health care certificate training in order for the ideal health care assistant to be fully ready and available for this role. The residential setting is based in Altrincham, Trafford and caters for young adults with a range of needs such as mental health and addiction. This is a flexible role and is often needed at short notice. It can prearranged with a days notice or sometimes can be on the day. Shifts usually run from 7am-7pm Monday-Sunday. Occasionally, there is need for waking nights too which run 7pm-7am the following day. This is flexible work and can fit around you and your schedule.
