Intervention Teachers - Cardiff
Due to schools closures a result of covid 19, many pupils are currently behind on their learning. Axcis are anticipating an increase demand for teachers later in the year to start plugging any learning gaps with a small group of pupils. Such roles historically tend to be on a part time basis, and can be either a morning or afternoon requirement, or a couple of days a week. However with the gaps no doubt affecting more pupils than usual, there may be possibilities of schools needing someone on a full time basis.
This role for intervention teaching is based in Cardiff and surrounding areas, so if you live in Cardiff or happy to travel there for teaching positions do get in touch.
We are looking for teachers that have perhaps had tutoring experience and working with smaller groups. As this will affect both primary and secondary schools, we are looking for teachers that come from either background. You will need to have good all round subject knowledge and be able to confidently break down learning material to better suit the differently abled students.
We are ideally looking for teachers who;
- Hold UK QTS and are either primary or secondary trained
- Perhaps have experience in working with low ability students and have tutored before
- Have good knowledge in a variety of subjects
- Can confidently differentiate teaching material
- Hold an enchanced DBS on the update service, if you don't have one then we can help you apply for this.
You will need to register with the EWC - Education Workforce Council
