Job Title: Learning Mentor Primary School
JOB LOCATION:

I am currently working with a lovely special school in the Central Birmingham area near Small Heath. They are a well established primary school, and pride themselves in being able to meet each individual child's needs wherever possible. They are currently looking for Support Staff with Learning Mentor experience to help work with some of their pupils who need help with catching up across KS1 and KS2. There will be more of a focus on KS2 pupils who will be transitioning to secondary school next year. Job Details: - Full Time hours - Temp position (Ongoing) - Primary age group - Start Date: ASAP - Support children throughout the year groups within intervention and 1:1 sessions to help them catch up academically What you need to apply: - Experience with SEND - Experience working with intervention groups and on a 1:1 basis - You must have worked in a primary school setting previously - Current DBS (Or be willing to obtain one) The school itself is easily accessible via public transport and also has parking available. It is very much a home away from home with a strong emphasise on family values and working with the community.
