Job Title: Learning Support Worker
Axcis are working in close partnership with a well renowned specialist SEND college setting based in the centre of Gloucester that provides education for students with a range of special educational needs specifically Autism, Learning difficulties, Social and emotional mental health needs and more complex needs who are looking for a full time Learning Support Worker to start asap and continue on until the end of the academic year.
At this impressive, fantastic and inclusive setting every curriculum is tailored to each student based on their hobbies, interests and skills and the college have a very holistic approach to the support the provide.
Previous experience of working with learners with SEND, ideally in a post 16 setting with experience in GCSE or Level 2 Math and English and IT skills is desirable.
The hours for this role are Monday to Friday 08.30-4.30 totalling 37 hours per week and the college pays £17.00 per hour. Inclusivity is extremely important at the college with everyone being part of the team and feedback on the running and supportive nature of the college is impressive!
The college are looking for the right candidate to start asap and ideally look to be taken on permanent should they be a good fit so this is an exciting prospect for anyone looking for a permanent full time position.
The pay is very competitive and you will initially be paid a week in arrears every Friday whilst with Axcis.
