Job Title: Maths Teacher - SEMH Schooll

A SEMH School based in Islington are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and dynamic Maths Teacher to join them after October half term. The School are looking for a confident and experienced Maths teacher with demonstrable love for their subject who has effective behaviour management skills to join them on a full time, long term basis. There is also the potential for this role to develop into a permanent job for the successful Maths Teacher. The ideal teacher will be energetic and creative and be able to motivate and inspire their pupils and spark a love for Maths. The role involves teaching across Key Stages 3 - 4, however, a lot of pupils within the school are below national age-related literacy and numeracy levels and so the ability to effectively engage SEMH pupils is more important than the phase you are used to/trained to teach. Both primary and secondary trained teachers are encouraged to apply. You must be a qualified teacher and have demonstrable experience dealing with SEMH and Challenging behaviour. Team Teach training is highly desirable but not essential. This is an amazing position for someone who is passionate about Maths, enjoys a challenge and has exemplary behaviour management skills. This is a full-time role to start in November 2020 and will continue on for the rest of the academic year.
