Responsibilities: • Customised Teaching: Develop and deliver individualised lesson plans that address the diverse needs of students, ensuring an accessible and engaging learning experience. • Positive Learning Environment: Cultivate a classroom atmosphere that is welcoming, supportive and inclusive, promoting the well-being and growth of every student. • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of teaching assistants, therapists and other educational professionals to provide comprehensive support to students. • Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet changing needs and ensure continued development. • Family Engagement: Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and involving them in the educational journey. Candidate Profile: • Qualifications: Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) are highly desirable. • Experience: Experience working in a special education setting is preferred, but we welcome applications from passionate educators with a strong commitment to supporting students with special needs. • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach to teaching. • Attributes: A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of students.
