Job Title: PMLD Teaching Assistant
Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs? A welcoming school in White City, conveniently located on the Central Line and close to Shepherd’s Bush, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their team. This temporary position involves working with students across Primary and Secondary levels who have severe learning difficulties (SLD), including profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). The role may involve assisting with personal care, ensuring each student’s unique needs are met in a nurturing and inclusive environment. The school has a lovely, supportive atmosphere, making it an ideal setting for someone who is committed to making a difference in the lives of children with special needs. Key Responsibilities: • Providing tailored support during lessons and activities. • Assisting with personal care as required. • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. • Supporting students’ individual communication and social development needs.
