Job Title: Primary SEN teaching Assistant - Autism
An Outstanding Primary school based in Wood Green - N22 are in need of a teaching assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 Pupil with Autism from September 2022. The ideal teaching assistant will have previous experience working with ASD pupils – knowledge of PECS or Makaton are highly desirable. The successful teaching assistant will also be responsible for ensuring the successful integration of the pupil into the mainstream school. Ideally, you will have a calm nature, as well as a proactive and nurturing attitude. This is a full time, long term role to start in September 2022 and continue until July 2023. Pay - £80 - £90 per day About the role: • 1:1 ASD Teaching Assistant working with a Year 4 student • Full time, (Mon-Fri) The ideal candidate: • Experience with ASD • Experience working with KS2 Students • PECS and Makaton - not essential but highly desirable.
