Job Title: Primary SEND Teaching Assistant In Longbridge
We are currently seeking passionate and caring Teaching Assistants to join our SEND Primary School in Longbridge. This is a full-time position for individuals who are dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities:
• Support pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities within the classroom.
• Work closely with the classroom teacher to provide tailored support to individual students and small groups.
• Assist with behaviour management and help pupils develop key social and emotional skills.
• Promote inclusion and help create a safe, nurturing, and supportive learning environment.
Key Requirements:
• Classroom experience is essential.
• A passion for helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and supporting their development, both academically and emotionally.
• Resilient and confident individuals who can remain calm and positive in challenging situations.
• An understanding of the needs of pupils with SEND, especially those with trauma backgrounds.
• Experience in a support worker or residential behaviour role is highly desirable.
Role Details:
• Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Full-Time)
• Duration: Long-term role with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.
• Pay: Starting from £89 per day (PAYE), depending on experience and qualifications
• Location: Longbridge (B45)
