Job Title: Primary Teacher – Special School (SEMH & SEND) – Windsor
A specialist primary school in Windsor is seeking a dedicated and experienced teacher to support children with SEMH needs, challenging behaviour, communication difficulties and complex learning needs. This full-time role, Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment. This role is ideal for a teacher with strong SEND experience who can create a structured, engaging and nurturing classroom while adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs. Responsibilities include: • Planning and delivering tailored lessons that support both academic and emotional development • Managing behaviour positively, using de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed approaches • Collaborating with support staff, therapists and families to create personalised learning plans • Encouraging communication and social skills development through creative and interactive methods Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential • Experience working with SEND, SEMH or children with complex needs • A resilient, patient and compassionate teaching approach • The ability to adapt and respond flexibly to meet pupils’ needs • A driving licence is preferable due to the school’s location This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist setting where every day is rewarding.
