Key Responsibilities: - Deliver engaging and innovative lessons to KS2 students, ensuring the curriculum is accessible and enjoyable for all learners. - Be responsible for planning, marking, and assessing pupils’ work, providing constructive feedback to support their progress and attainment. - Employ strong behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment. - Monitor and report on the progress of pupils, maintaining accurate records and identifying any additional needs. - Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community, participating in school events and activities. - Build and sustain effective relationships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of their child’s development and fostering their involvement in the school community. - Facilitate a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that recognizes and celebrates each child’s unique abilities. - Support and mentor ECTs throughout their induction year, providing guidance and encouragement. The Ideal Candidate: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. - Holds a current DBS on the update service. - Demonstrates strong behaviour management skills. - Has a proven track record of raising attainment and accelerating progress. - Is adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to engage students of varying abilities. - Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills, necessary for building relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents. - Is committed to ongoing professional development and is receptive to feedback.
