Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant (SEND)
Axcis Education are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant, to support the SEND provision in a mainstream Primary School in the Bideford area of North Devon on a 1:1 basis. This mainstream Primary School is proud of its commitment to an inclusive and holistic curriculum offer, with a key pillar being a well-rounded SEND provision and the ability to adapt the curriculum and offer interventions to meet the needs of every pupil in the school.
The curriculum is in this school is designed to promote independence in an engaging, safe and enjoyable environment, as enjoyment is key to the engagement of all pupils regardless of their needs. Furthermore, the school strive to enable every student to achieve their potential and be adaptable to the changing needs of every student.
The schoolwork towards their curriculum being inclusive and enjoyable, innovative and ambitious for all pupils, as this will put their students in the best position to achieve their potential. By the time they leave year 6, the school aspires to have nurtured responsible and articulate citizens capable of making a positive influence on their community, setting them up to excel.

This role is full-time and would be classroom based with the potential to also work in small groups, and also on a 1:1 basis.
