Position: Teaching Assistant in a Primary School Setting Type: Full time or part time roles Hours: 0830-1530 Location: Bournemouth Pay: Between £80-£90 a day Job Description: As a Dedicated Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping students with SEND thrive in their educational journey. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing one-on-one or group support to students with varying special educational needs. - Assisting with classroom activities and ensuring students' safety and well-being. - Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. - Supporting students in developing their social, emotional, and academic skills. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes: - Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred whether that’s a carer/support worker, youth worker etc. - A passion for supporting students with SEND and a commitment to their development. - Experience working with SEND is ideal.
