This full-time role involves providing 1:1 support to primary-aged children with autism, commencing as soon as possible. Following an initial settling-in period, the position offers the potential for a permanent contract. Key Responsibilities: • Individualised Support: Work closely with students diagnosed with autism, tailoring support to their unique needs to enhance their learning experience. • Collaborative Planning: Assist class teachers and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) in developing and implementing personalised learning plans. • Progress Monitoring: Observe and document student progress, providing regular feedback to the educational team and parents. • Inclusive Environment: Promote a supportive and inclusive atmosphere, ensuring all students feel valued and engaged.
