**So, what’s the Autism Learning Support role all about?**
- You’ll be supporting children with autism to access the curriculum and making learning fun, interactive, and hands-on.
- Help students with autism, SEMH, and challenging behaviour in the classroom, giving them the tools to succeed.
- You’ll play a key role in creating a positive and inclusive environment for every child.
- Work closely with the teacher to deliver individualised support and make sure every student can take part in activities in their own unique way.
**What’s the ideal candidate for this Autism Learning Support role?**
- You’ve got at least 3 months of experience working with children (bonus points if you've worked with autism or challenging behaviour).
- You’re friendly, approachable, and ready to support students in any way needed to help them thrive.
- You’re adaptable and can think on your feet in a busy, active school environment.
- A DBS on the Update Service (or the willingness to process a new one) is a must!
- Most importantly, you bring a positive, patient attitude and a passion for helping children with autism reach their full potential.
