Job Title: Secondary Behaviour Support
We are currently working with a secondary school in Bridgwater who require a Behaviour Support Assistant to support students across the school. This role involves working with children with SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health) needs, challenging behaviour and additional learning disabilities. You will be working with individuals or small groups of children and young people, providing support to access their learning as well as with their social interactions. The hours are full time school hours, Monday to Friday 8.30 to 3.30 with a 30 minute break and available for an immediate start. Pay is competitive. The successful candidate will preferably have previous experience of working with children or young people and working with challenging behaviour and SEMH. You must have a strong desire to work with children and young people to achieve the very best outcomes for each individual, in addition to being very resilient and willing to work under pressure.
