About the Role As a Teaching Assistant at our Alternative Provision school, you will work closely with students who require additional support, particularly those exhibiting challenging behaviour. Your role will be to provide a calm, supportive, and structured environment where these students can thrive and succeed in their learning. Key Responsibilities: • Support students with challenging behaviour, offering guidance and de-escalation techniques when necessary. • Assist the teacher in delivering tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of students. • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages students to engage with their education. • Work closely with other staff and professionals to develop and implement behaviour management strategies. • Monitor students’ progress and help build their social and emotional skills.
