Job Title: SEMH Learning Support Assistant, Secondary, Smethwick
We are seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant to work as part of a wider in-school team at an alternative provision. You will be working Monday to Friday, term-time only, on the hours of 08:30am to 3:30pm. School experience is highly desired but not essential to be considered, however would be beneficial. In this role you will be: • Following interventions which are pre-created to support set students, mostly have social emotional mental health needs. These interventions although set, are flexible and the right candidate would be given flexibility to amend in-line with the needs of the students. • Working as part of the wider SEND hub team, you will be required to be confident & have experience supporting individuals who require extra support, whether in-school or through residential support or similar You will need: • To be available full-time (8:30am-3:30pm, Monday - Friday) • Have the right to work in the UK • An enhanced DBS on the update service or happy to obtain one This role pays from £95.29 per day, which will be paid on a weekly basis All applications must be submitted by 6pm on Friday 24th May 2024.
