Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant, Wigan
Are you currently a teaching assistant based in Ashton- in – Makerfield? Are you looking to make a real difference in children’s education? Axcis education are looking to appoint a teaching assistant for one of our lovely SEMH (social, emotional mental health) primary schools based in Ashton - in – Makerfield, this role will be full time Monday to Friday and will be from 8:30- 16:00pm. The school are looking for the successful candidate to start immediately. The ideal candidate would have a DBS on the update service, and preferably they would have classroom experience or personal experience with SEMH difficulties. The successful candidate will be helping with general in class support, and there will be the opportunity to provide 1-1 support for individual pupils. This role is temporary, but there is opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate! This is a great opportunity at a really lovely primary school, that has an OFSTED rating of ‘good’. There is onsite car parking for staff and excellent facilities for the children.
