Job Title: SEND Learning Support Assistant
Position: SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Location: Bromley, London Salary: Competitive, based on experience Hours: 8:30am-3:00pm / 9:00am-3:30pm We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled SEND Learning Support Assistant to join our team. Key Responsibilities: • Support students with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), including wheelchair users and those with medical needs. • Manage and support students exhibiting challenging behaviours. • Assist with personal care, including manual handling and hoisting. • Facilitate ICT classes and assist students with basic computer skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. • Collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Requirements: • Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths. • Proven experience working with SEND students. • Basic computer skills and familiarity with ICT classes. • Knowledge of manual handling and personal care procedures. • Ability to handle challenging behaviours with patience and empathy. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
