Job Opportunity: SEND Teaching Assistant - Full-Time Location: Hartley Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Position Type: Full-Time Are you a care worker looking to transition into education? Passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities? We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our school in Hartley! Key Responsibilities: • Provide 1:1 and group support to SEND students, helping them achieve their academic and personal goals. • Assist in implementing individualised education plans and positive behaviour strategies. • Collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment. • Support students with daily routines, encouraging independence and social development. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Experience in care work or supporting individuals with special needs is highly desirable. • Patience, empathy, and a calm approach to managing challenging situations. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • A passion for making a positive impact in the lives of young learners.
