Job Title: SEND Teacher - ASD
Are you an experienced Primary Teacher with SEND experience? Would you like to make the transition from working in mainstream primary school to SEND teaching? - Then read below! Axcis Education are working with a specialist SEND provision based in the borough of Hillingdon who are seeking an EYFS / KS1 classroom teacher to teach a medium sized class of SEND pupils on a full time basis, starting September 2022. About the role: The chosen teacher will be teaching 13-16 KS1 children with ASD and complex learning difficulties. About the provision: Includes a newly adapted classroom environment, sensory rooms, outdoor classroom and large grounds. About the candidate: This provision would like either an experienced qualified teacher or an ECT for this post, SEND experience is essential, however there will be full support and training in place. This is a wonderful opportunity for a teacher who holds a strong passion for working with and making a difference within SEND, there are opportunities for progression and there will also be designated TAs and HLTAs to support you within the classroom.
