A special school based in Ealing which caters for 4-19 year olds with severe learning difficulties PMLD and Autistic pupils are looking for a experienced, passionate and committed SEND Teacher to join their supportive School Team.
The ideal teacher will be dedicated, reflective and resourceful with excellent teaching skills and high expectations of pupil achievement. You will have demonstrable knowledge and understanding of effective positive behaviour management strategies. You will also have the ability to think creatively to support pupils to overcome their barriers to learning. If you have relevant SEND experience and have a caring and nurturing approach to students and their needs, then we are keen to hear from you. Mainstream Primary school teachers, NQTs and Overseas Trained Teachers with a passion for SEND are welcome to apply. You should have an innovative and flexible approach to teaching and be keen to make each pupils learning experience exciting and engaging.
The school is purpose built with excellent facilities and modern resources including a hydrotherapy pool, sensory rooms and creative outdoor spaces. It is easily accessible via public transport and also has private parking amenities.
This role is to start in September 2020 and will be a full-time role that continues on for the rest of the academic year. There is potential for this role to become permanent.
