Job Title: SEND Teacher
Position: SEND Teacher Location: Richmond, London Salary: Competitive, based on experience Contract: Full-time, Monday-Friday We are a vibrant and inclusive SEND school in Richmond, dedicated to supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEND Teacher to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of students with SEND. • Develop and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs). • Use a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. • Collaborate with parents, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support for each student. Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. • Proven experience working with students with SEND. • In-depth knowledge of SEND practices and legislation. • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to handle challenging behaviours. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching.
