Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant, Challenging Behaviour, Mainstream Primary
Axcis are looking for an assertive and clear-headed individual with a calm and empathetic nature to work in a primary academy in the Kings Norton area of South Birmingham. The school is looking to recruit an experienced teaching assistant to join their pro-active team. This is a full-time position for the 24/25 academic year. The perfect TA will support a specific child on a 1:1 basis. Across a range of different subjects, therefore you do not need in depth subject knowledge, and instead, skills/experience in working with individuals with Autism (ASD) and/or Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs are highly desirable as this individual may demonstrate challenging behaviour due to their condition, lived experiences and other mental health difficulties.
