Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Clapham) Are you passionate about making a positive impact in children's lives? A vibrant primary school in Clapham is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team and support our incredible students. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and challenging behaviours. The role also involves providing personal care to ensure all students receive the support they need in a safe, inclusive environment. Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to implement individualised support plans. Encourage and promote student independence, fostering a sense of confidence and achievement. Role Requirements: An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service. The right to work in the UK. Previous experience as a care assistant or in a similar role supporting children with SEND. A caring, patient, and proactive attitude. Ideal Candidate Attributes: A passion for working with children and supporting them to reach their full potential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. A flexible and adaptable approach to meet the diverse needs of students.
