Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Are you passionate about supporting students with SEND? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team at a school in the Sutton area. Position: SEND Support Specialist (ASD, SEMH, Challenging Behaviour) Location: Sutton Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Role Responsibilities: • Provide tailored support to students with ASD, SEMH needs, and challenging behaviours • Develop and implement individualised strategies to promote positive behaviour and learning outcomes • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that addresses each student's unique needs Candidate Requirements: • Experience working with students with ASD, SEMH needs, and challenging behaviours • Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and techniques • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Patient, empathetic, and dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential What We Offer: • Competitive salary - £14.66 per hour • Professional development opportunities • Supportive and collaborative team environment If you are enthusiastic about making a positive impact on the lives of students with ASD, SEMH needs, and challenging behaviours and meet the above criteria, we would love to hear from you!
