Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education work closely alongside 6 schools within a trust, this particular school is within Perry Barr, Birmingham. Even though this school is a mainstream school, they offer an education to those with special needs including: - Cognition & Learning - Communication & Interaction - Social, Emotional and Mental Health - Sensory &/or physical needs This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:30 and will go permanent for the correct candidate. The daily rate of pay is £90.00 - £100.00 depending on your experience. Job details: • One to one or small group basis support • Full time hours (8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday) • Ongoing basis starting ASAP • Working independently and as part of a team Requirements: • Experience in working with learning difficulties needs – Essential • Willing to support low-level personal care tasks - Essential • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required or we’re happy to carry out a new one ahead of you starting the position – Essential • Minimum of 2 good references – Essential If you are not interested in this role but know someone else who might be, don't forget that we offer up to £250 in shopping vouchers if you refer a friend to us and we place them in the job.
