Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Haringey - Autism
London - North
A Primary School in Haringey are seeking an experienced Special Needs teaching assistant with knowledge of Autism and Speech & Language Needs to work with a child in Year 2. This is a full time role to start ASAP and will continue on for the rest of the academic year. This ideal teaching assistant will be warm, engaging and have demonstrable SEND experience. As a Special Needs teaching assistant, you will be happy to work within the classroom as well as on a 1:1 basis with this child. Previous knowledge and experience working with children with Autism and Speech & Language difficulties is essential and an understanding of Makaton and PECS is highly desired, however not essential.
