Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education are looking for an experienced, confident and flexible teaching assistant to work in a special needs school in the Wandsworth area. Your role will be providing SEND students with high-quality care to support and enhance their learning. The role will require working collaboratively with teachers to provide additional support as needed, enabling pupils to best access learning. The special school has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere and offers excellent resources for all the staff that work there. The school that we are working with supports children between the ages of 3-19. You will need to have experience supporting autism and feel confident in working with students on a 1:1 basis. Makaton/PECS knowledge is desired.
