Are you currently a sport coach with experience working in schools? Perhaps you are wanting to transition into working in the classroom rather than on the field!
Axcis education are now recruiting individuals who have experience working in sports coaching or after school clubs, that may want to branch out into a new career as a teaching assistant. Do you have the ability to motivate and inspire children to work hard, whether that be in the classroom or on the field, do you have a passion for creating activities for the children that will engage them into working hard?
We are working with a number of schools in Liverpool that are looking for those with transferable skills to transition into the classroom. If you have previously worked in sports coaching and have a passion for working with children or young people, this could be the opportunity for you!
The daily duties of this teaching assistant role would be, to assist the teacher with anything they require, you will need to be organised and helpful to the staff, and feel comfortable working with small groups of children.
Having experience working in sports coaching or youth clubs would be essential for applying for this role, you do not need to have any qualifications other than a C grade in maths and English, and a DBS that is on the update service. The ideal candidate would also have first aid training although this is not required.
